TKD "Fireman" Themed Crawl

Taekwondo – Firemen Style

The plan for the night was for everyone to get stuffed; get drunk; and have a double helping of fun, fun, fun!!
The night started off with everyone meeting inside the union. To my stupidity of leaving it to the last minute (no change there!), most people apart from me and a few others seem to look like actual firemen.
We left the place for a hike to Pizza Hut for a little round of scoffing. After a long time of ordering a surprisingly large amount of pizza (I don’t know how some people can eat a meal for three), not knowing about the touch cup we’d start playing later on!! After a lot of talking, and an amazingly long time of waiting (tut-tut-tut), our holy meals arrived! With Mark crying over his starters being stolen from the thieving Haley and Jenny; and Mo thinking he can meditate through his meal; and Chris/Will thinking they can eat more than they deserve; we all got on with the scoffing!

After finishing what we could, and the table looking like Genghis Khan pillaging a village, we realised we had some time waiting for (munching duo) Will and Chris, to eat their THREE (big emphasis on the number), deserts they had. After collecting the money from everyone, and paying the bill, we had £10’s over…so we decided we’d pay for a few snakey b’s at the union for touch cup.

After finding out that you have to pay to get into the union with NUS (*shaking fists*…grrr), we headed for the bar. With my newly acquired ten pound note (and after waiting about 25 minutes to get served at the bar), we settled down to play some touché le vais!

The first to get picked on was Mr (I don’t get drunk easily) Colin, who ended up having quite a few in the game. And after downing a couple of drinks we ended up into the legendary Lux bar. With a few drinks in our hands we set off to dance the night away-Taekwondo-Fireman Style.

There were so many laughs throughout the night to mention, but ones that stood out was (again, breakdancing) Will, pulling his moves on the floor; Crazy Dan getting raped by two girls trying to nick his jacket and helmet (Get in there Dan); as well as Mr (I don’t get drunk easily) Colin pretending to be in the circus, by throwing his homemade axe into the air. Luckily (thank god!) no one was hit, well I mean nobody other than the taekwondo lot, as there were some abnormal smacks to the head with that axe (I thought helmets were meant to protect your head!).
I can probably say from all of us that this was a great night and I definitely can’t wait until our next social ‘Golfers’ comes together.

Till next time!
